NPD vs Codependency -- inborn nature of sensitive vs. not senstive? Empty NPD vs Codependency -- inborn nature of sensitive vs. not senstive?

Richard, I follow your work closely and am immersed in SIC currently (phenomenal!). Question: I get that w/ NPD their values are corrupted/flipped and they identify with their abuser. Do you think it's possible that the determining factor of whether someone goes predatory or victim is their inborn emotional nature -- sensitive vs. not sensitive?

Are you asking if it’s nature vs nurture? I don’t think that has been answered definitively. I believe it is a mixture of both. 2 of my ex’s 3 sons showed strong narcissistic traits.
