    Hello all,

Im trying to ascertain the difference between the narc having adhd and maybe that making the narcissism worse or am I dealing with a real 100% covert narc.

Please post how you know the difference.

Adhd is disorientating for people who have it, the covert narc is not disorientated. they can play that card to keep you off balance. The covert is extreme and may do many things at the same time but it is just them proving to themselves that they are superior.

I live in an environment with both ADD and Emotional Abuse.
I'm certain that the similarities and differences need to be explored further as this can help us understand each one better too.

I read the book "Is it you, me or adult ADD" (and others).
It is surprising that there is so much overlap of symptoms between the ADD spectrum and the DSM Clusters A-B-C...
It's like you could describe the exact same person with the vocabulary of either "disorders".
I'm thinking that the overlap is either a normal fact of co-occurance or co-morbidity...
or that some symptoms are simply linked to bad habits that people fall into when they lack organizational skill, a basic moral compass with virtu ideals and/or empathy.

I think that a person being subjected to emotional abuse is much more likely to develop or increase ADHD symptoms. Just losing sleep alone is very correlated with mental fog, confusion, impulsivity, etc. And we all know that being in an emotional abuse environment leads to a lack of sleep...

I don't think that we gain by leaving the 2 topics in isolated silos.
