Brief history: I'm 38, have a good job and am single and live by myself. Two years ago I was jobless, living with my parents and trying to recover from rape and stalking. Found out lately that my parents didn't believe me and told the police this. Four months ago a new partner damaged my car and broke into my house with a key he'd kept. The police didn't want to hear about it.
Now I need my passport so I can register for a government website so at work I can help get people with disabilities their hearing aids. But dad won't reply to messages asking for my brother to drop off my passport, since I refused the first time i asked when he said to come to the "family home" and get it.
Don't know what to do. Don't want to play their games, know the police won't help, really need my passport.
