Purpose of this Forum?

This Forum seems dead, while the Facebook page is active.  I do NOT want to sign up for Facebook, because i've read their "terms".   I would imagine i'm not alone in avoiding FB, as some of us anticipate being, or actually have been, stalked.

Most of the questions posed here are TO Richard, who hasn't even posted here in quite some time.  I imagine some people are frustrated that there's been no response.  I'm not inclined to post my own two-cents-worth in response to a question directed TO Richard.

Can anyone explain the purpose of this site?  Thank you.

Honesty I the same opinion as you.
I refuse to use facebook, and stop using it was the best thing I did in my life.
